Windows 7 - How to Rename a User Account in Windows 7

1. Open Control Panel by clicking on Start menu > Control Panel.

2. Click on User Accounts icon.

3. Click Change your account name. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

4. Type the new name, and then click Change Name.
